This should be the last course a student takes before high school biology. Typically, we recommend that the student take this course during the same year that he or she is taking prealgebra. Exploring Creation With Physical Science provides a detailed introduction to the physical environment and some of the basic laws that make it work. The fairly broad scope of the book provides the student with a good understanding of the earth's atmosphere, hydrosphere, and lithosphere. It also covers details on weather, motion, Newton's Laws, gravity, the solar system, atomic structure, radiation, nuclear reactions, stars, and galaxies.
The second edition of our physical science course has several features that enhance the value ... more
This is the multimedia companion to the printed physical science textbook. It contains all of the multimedia add-ons that can be found on the Exploring Creation With Physical Science CD-ROM, but excludes the text of the course.
The CD contains a complete audio recording of the course Exploring Creation With Physical Science as read by homeschooling father Michael A. Wilson. The audio for the complete text and "On Your Own problems is included on the CD.The audio for the study guides, tests, and answers is not included.

The CD-ROM version has all of the information found in the print version of the course, PLUS multimedia add-ons such as animations, videos (which do not replace lab experimetns), narrations, and audio pronunciation guides. Study guides and tests may be printed our for students to answer on paper. Answers are available to parents as well for manual grading.
This is a complete course, not a supplement!
This course is designed to be the last science course the student takes before high school biology. Thus, we generally recommend it as an 8th grade course. However, if your student was recently in public school, he or she might need to wait until 9th grade to use it. The course discusses such topics as the atmosphere, ... more
Engaging LIFEPAC General Science III emphasizes the important subjects of geology and body health. Students will study diverse topics like: Our Atomic World; Volume, Mass, and Density; Astronomy; Oceanography; and Scientific Applications. LIFEPAC General Science III offers a fun approach to learning so your student can easily fine-tune his understanding of physics! He will not only learn the laws of nature; but will also be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment as he completes each worktext. Each unit contains section objectives, vocabulary words, along with question and answer sections. The LIFEPAC General Science III Set contains ten separate worktexts and a teacher's guide that may be purchased individually.
Physical Science Student Worktext (4th ed.) is an exciting and engaging introduction to the world of physics and chemistry. Designed and written for 9th graders, it provides the necessary foundation of knowledge and theory for subsequent science courses, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. This textbook also shows that true science involves glorifying God and serving our fellow humans in some capacity. Through practical Bible integration, students learn that a Christian worldview permeates true science. The textbook does not assume any prior knowledge in physics or chemistry, other than normal life experiences. It erects a scaffold of basic information regarding matter and measurement early in the text; then build ... more
Physical Science Student Lab Manual (4th ed.) is the primary resource for providing a hands-on, interactive laboratory experience. There is at least one laboratory activity or formal teacher demonstration provided for every chapter in the textbook. The lab manual covers laboratory safety, including the reading and use of chemical Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Students will be guided through the laboratory practices common to high school science courses as well much more advanced techniques. Specialized equipment demands are minimal. Most labs can be performed with readily-available items. Since real science requires measurement, we strongly recommend that appropriate measuring equipment be obtained for this course. ... more
